Summer is time for vacation!
There are numerous opportunities for
walks and trekking, starting from the easy ones to more difficult paths. Moreover, you may enjoy the sunrise on the
Monte Cavallo, you can make
excursions to mountain chalets with the possibility of
overnight stays, visit mountain lakes, do mountain climbing, organize mountain bike tour, go Nordic walking, ride, paraglide, free climbing on artificial o real rocks, rafting and much more. All this is possible on our farm or in the near valleys around us, such as Val Ridanna, Val di Vizze, Val di Fleres o Val di Giove.
Who is interested in nature can find in this season the full bloom of many flowers, for instance you can admire very rare flowers threaten unfortunately by extinction. Particularly the
alpine rhododendron comes into flower in this period and colors the mountain in an intense red color. You will be gripped!
Furthermore, there are many attractions such as the waterfalls of Gilfenklamm. You can visit the castle of
Wolfsthurn in Mareit, the highest mine of Europe in
Maiern und am Schneeberg; you can admire the medieval town Vipiteno and the castle of Reifenstein etc.
During the summer a lot of
events are organized. Many of those events are an expression of local tradition and culture and so you can take a direct insight of how people live in this region.
